91热爆 London 94.9 FM 's Vanessa Feltz has seen off some very stiff competition to win the coveted Speech Radio Personality category of the 27th Sony Radio Academy Awards for her weekday show.

This is Vanessa's second win in just 12 months, she听 was voted programme presenter of the year at the Frank Gillard Awards last autumn - a ceremony held exclusively for 91热爆 Local Radio stations in England, recognising excellence and creative programming.

Vanessa and the team went to pick up the award at the prestigious black tie ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel having won against network radio counterparts Nicky Campbell, Eddie Mair and Stephen Nolan.

Commenting on the win, 91热爆 London Managing Editor David Robey said:听 "We're delighted for Vanessa.听

She's an amazingly talented speech broadcaster whose show entertains and informs with challenging topics and top guests, such as the Mayor of London, but above all Vanessa gets her listeners to share the most remarkable stories about themselves as if they're talking to their best friend."
