We're happy to say things are on the up for The November Five... The November Five have cobbled their talents from Slough, Manchester and London, and now consider themselves part of our rich metropolitan tapestry, some 18 months after first forming in 2007. Drawing from the Stooges, Velvets and Bowie, the band have cultivated a huge and powerful stadium potential. Everything they do is overblown and brilliantly unapologetic.听 "Life and the way one deals with it should be the primary inspiration of any artist. Anything else is just a fraud," they tell us. Two of the four of the November Five They add that inspiration can just as easily come from "neighbours arguing at 3 o'clock in the morning, the wailing of sirens and the crashing of doors in a dawn raid." In live terms The November Five have been setting the capital alight, having recently headlined ex-Creation man Alan McGee's Death Disco. What's next for them? Why, currently penning new material for their upcoming May tour and preparing to take Windsor, Cambridge, Brighton and Reading by storm! You can see them when they return to London to play the Dirty Water Club in Tufnell Park on June 12th with The Priscillas, but impromptu gigs are a distinct possibility with this lot, so be sure to keep in touch with their MySpace. Links can be found in the right-hand column of this page, and there you will find our London Calling track, Closure. It's The November Five's debut single and is available on download release now. last updated: 02/04/2009 at 16:20 SEE ALSOYou are in: London > Radio > 94.9 Information > About Us > The November Five Podcast[an error occurred while processing this directive] Podcast[an error occurred while processing this directive] |
