Kings of tempo change, dropping their 't's and funkalicious rock, The Thirst have been doing their thing for three years and in that time have secured themselves a cheeky little fan base. And we don't just mean the pogoing youth of Brixton, either.

The South London band have already got 91热爆's Tom Robinson clammy under the collar and shared dressing rooms with some seriously hot names in rock. Sharing the bill with The Sex Pistols and The Rolling Stones on two separate occasions, The Thirst have gone on to befriend some of today's most influential names in music.

Counting Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Adele, Kasabian), Jake Fior (Babyshambles, The Libertines) and James Lewis (Cajun Dance Party) among their current work mates, the debut album, On The Brink, is being pieced together whilst global touring continues.

Bosom buddies bantering

Single launch for the turbo charged, ska tinged short player, Sail Away, meanwhile, is due for April 25 at the destination Noel Gallagher has championed "a colossal club night". This Feeling will play host to the band and guests as they celebrate the release of London Calling's choice track.
