Together just a year, The Broadways are riding high on the success the past twelve months have brought.

With London Calling track, Just A Dreamy Day, about to be released as a single the band have every right to be smug about their speedy success. But The Broadways tell us that it's all happened so fast The Band still feel like newcomers.

They're style is one that suggests front man and guitarist David D has had one too many sherbets; supercharged rhythm and a touch of shuffle place The Broadways somewhere between听the dance floor capabilities of Arctic Monkeys and the drawl of The Clash.

Residing in West London and Ealing the band have managed to capture London's heart with much the same charm as the likes of Jamie T, and Larrikin Love before them. Big influences on the writing and music making, meanwhile, stem from current UK hip hop through to Springsteen. No one, say the band, comes close to The Boss.

They tell London Calling that Aint No City, by Bobby Blue Band, would be The Broadways' choice of cover, although Jay-Z may be pushing it.听 Still, With the single due for release in November, this band won't be requiring any cover versions soon.
