Recent weeks have seen a blaze of negative publicity about teenagers in London. As the casualties of knife and gun violence continue to grow, it seems teens are making the news for all the wrong reasons. So how does this impact on our perceptions of the youth? How true a picture to we really have? Is the gulf between adults and young people growing? These are just some of the questions being explored by the Barking & Dagenham Youth Dance group. Their new show 鈥淧erception鈥 debuts in London's West End later this month. It uses music and dance to challenge our views on age, race, gender, and each other.
