The Be Be See, despite sounding like an institution in their own right, are in fact relative newbies in the music world. Formed only last year, through a tangled web of origins (namely Tuffnell Park, Kentish Town and Hackney Road) the foursome decided to get it together and go on tour, having discovered they couldn't be sued. Joy! Considering themselves more pre-punk than post-punk, the band indulge themselves with the Stooges and the Velvet Underground.Ìý Choosing linear pop over angular shouting, The Be Be See also aspire to blend early Roy Music / Eno with Pulp and techno … GOOD techno that is. up their sleevesAs well as releasing singles - their London Calling featured track Disney Eyes is out June 4 - the band like nothing better than a good tour. Lab testing, 1, 2, 3: The Be Be See live Live shows have heard covers of both Primal Scream and Julian Cope. But that's not all they've got up their sleeves.
