Birdbox After laying four eggs the blue tit abandoned its nest. Experts at Chelsea Physic Garden think local parakeets may have frightened the blue tit away. Staff at the Chelsea Physic Garden will leave the nest alone as it is actually illegal under bird protection law (DoE Licence WLF1000068) to clean out nest boxes during the breeding season (1st February to 31st July)听in case active nests are inadvertently disturbed.
