Fatlum Sadiku's been playing table tennis for the past couple of years and is hoping to stake his claim for London 2012, a stark contrast to when he first came to the capital.

Being a refugee Fatlum, who was born in Albania, didn't have the easiest time settling in. He couldn't speak English and quickly got into trouble.

A chance meeting with the Greenhouse Schools Project (a charity set-up to transform the lives of young people by engaging them in sport and art) led to Fatlum getting hooked on table tennis.

Two years on and he's managed to break out of this lifestyle through the power of table tennis and the focus that it has given him. He's now fluent in a number of languages and studying hard for his GCSE's.
