Hounslow based Red Eye Banquet have a lot to shout about. After appearing on Gary Crowley's London Calling with Young Gifted and Broke, they have gone on to release their debut EP, as well as follow up single, Wanda.

The band have also become part of the NME's Breaking Bands elite as well as finding acclaim through John Kennedy and 91热爆 Radio 1's Steve Lamacq.

Members, Michael Shearer (Vocals) James Towers (Guitar / Keys), Edward听 Taylor (Bass / Guitar) and Chris Rees (Drums) list their sound and influences as rock /hip hop /reggae /ska /funk /punk/ the 90's/ London / herbs and malts.

Red Eye Banquet thank life in London for making them who they are today, telling us, "A lot of people listen to one type of music all the time, we have never done that. living in London opens your eyes to such a variety of music and cultures that you cannot help being influenced by them."

Hearing themselves on the radio has been a highlight for the band, who feel to be achieving a legitimate sense of recognition for their two years hard graft together.
