Hailing from America, Sweden, Wales and, yes, even good old Blighty, the boys have rooted themselves in London's Eastend. Taking influences from The Strokes, The Beatles and lesser known US act Of Montreal, The Michelles fire together reliably crunchy guitars with more spontaneous rhythm and melody than your average London line-up. One of their best moments to date was when one, un-named member of the group was let back in the country, following a three month UK ban earlier this year! The Michelles: an agreeable indie racket Making up for lost time The Michelles are now gigging like wild fire. And if you're very lucky they may even perform a surprise favourite cover of theirs; Mariah Carey's Heartbreaker. "Good songs have the ability to transcend genres", say the band. Or so they hope... Current single Springtime, as featured by Gary Crowley, is available now on limited edition 7". Check out The Michelle's website to watch the video for Springtime and for current listings.
