Hello I'm Dekan, and I'm here for you.Ìý Let me explain.

I'm currently looking after the Waltham Forest and Redbridge patch.Ìý It's an area I know well and I'm keen to tell all sorts of stories, from all the many communities who call this part of London home.

Since my last job was looking after what's known as 'user generated content' - that means the photos and video you've sent into us - I'm particularly keen to hear from anyone with a story they want to tell on these pages.

So if you've got an event, an exhibition, a gripe about something or a cracking good tale to tell about your area – I'd like to hear from you.

Since the London Local section of our website was launched we've had dozens of people trying their hand as reporters, but of course not everyone wants to do the job themselves.Ìý So, if you'd like me to do the reporting for you, get in touch with your story and I will do my best to oblige
