Hi, you may not know who I am at the moment but, I'm sure over the next few months, you will come to recognise my face as I pop up all over Croydon.ÌýÌý This is because I now have the pleasure of being able to say, I amÌý 91Èȱ¬ London's reporter for the Borough of Croydon.Ìý

I live locally so, I doÌý feel very much a part of the area.Ìý You could regularly find me in the shops in Croydon.ÌýÌý I plan however,Ìý during my time in the Borough to spend more time getting to know the people and the area and, perhaps a little less blowing my wages in the shopping centre.Ìý

Now, let me give you a little insight into my back ground.Ìý I am from Gloucester, but I have been living in London for five years with four of those years locally.Ìý I have been a news journalist for seven years but, prior to that, I presented a specialist magazine programme aimed at the African and Caribbean community on the 91Èȱ¬ in the South West of England for over fifteen years.Ìý I am passionate about music, though to be fair, it's mostly reggae music, in all its forms.Ìý I was a DJ specialising in dancehall and bashment for a long time.Ìý When you see me, which you can do by clicking on to this linkÌý you won't believe it, but take it from me it's true.ÌýÌýÌý
