Londoners have been laying flowers and paying silent tributes to the 52 victims of the 7 July bombings at the four blast sites. Later survivors and relatives of those killed will attend a public ceremony at Regent's Park, in west London, where the names of the people killed will be read out. Two minutes silence - Russell Square, 7 July, 2006 Leading the commemorations, Mayor Ken Livingstone laid flowers near the scene of one of the attacks at King's Cross at 0850 - around the time the bombs on three Tube trains went off. At 0947 BST, he then laid flowers with bus driver George Psaradakis at Tavistock Square, the location where his number 30 bus was blown apart. At midday the capital fell silent for two minutes, cars and buses stopped in the street, pedestrians and shoppers and bowed their heads in quiet remembrance. Mr Livingstone told 91热爆 News website that it was a time to remember those individuals whose lives had been ruined by the attack. It was also a time to be proud of London's unique character, which had been a source of envy to the bombers, he said. One year on: Your thoughts and memoriesHow have you been marking the anniversary?
