The new Summer Season at the Everyman and Playhouse takes in classics like Henry V, stage productions of films in Brassed Off and comedy with John Hegley and Linda Smith.

At the Playhouse, Brassed Off based on the popular film runs from Friday 2nd to Saturday 24th May. The opening of the production will be celebrated with a brass band extravaganza in Williamson Square. Brassed Off is followed by Neville's Island
by Wirral born writer Tim Firth, a tale of what happens when four out of condition middle managers are sent on a team building exercise in the Lake District, the production runs from Thursday 5th to Saturday 28th June.

Henry V
Henry V at the Everyman
Henry V one of Shakespeare's most popular plays is at the Everyman from Tuesday 29 April to Saturday 3rd May. John Hegley brings his unique brand of poetry to the Everyman on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th May. There's magic with the David Wood Magic and Music Show running from Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th May. The television personality and writer presents one and a half hours of magic, music, fun and audience particiaption for children.

John Hegley
Comedian and writer Linda Smith brings her brand new full length show to the Everyman on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st May. A British Comedy Award nominee for her stand up work, Linda was voted Wittiest Person by 91热爆 Radio 4 listeners in May 2002.

From Thursday 5th to Saturday 7th June, Lady Macbeth Rewrites the Rulebook will be at the Everyman, it's the story of eight women, twelve lethal weapons, one wild computer game and Shakespeare.

Hector's House is a live Greek style tragedy from Lip Service, and includes handy hints on how to lace your sanals without them flopping down your leg. It runs at the Everyman from Tuesday 10th to Saturday 14th June.
