Find out how you can help Leicester's chances of becoming a host city for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, should England host the tournament.

A month ago representatives from Leicester City Council and Leicester City Football Club headed to Wembley as the selection process for host cities was launched.

Now, you can get involved in the campaign to bring football's biggest tournament to Leicester in 2018.

The Football Association's going to be taking a lot into account in deciding which cities it chooses as part of England's bid - and local enthusiasm is one of those factors.

You can show your support to the 2018 World Cup bid by filling out the form and selecting Leicester as a choice of host city on the official website...

91热爆 Leicester's Ben Jackson spoke to Leicester City Council leader Ross Willmott about how we can vote for our great city's.

Listen to the interview plus hear what the people of Leicester think of us being a possible host...

It is unclear how many host cities there would be if England is selected as the 2018 World Cup base, but there is definitely going to be some tough competition.

If Leicester was selected Ross believes it could mean more than an easy journey to see some top football:

"We estimate that there could be 200,000 people visiting the city if we were host city and that would have a tremendous boost to the city's economy."

He is calling on local individuals, schools and businesses to get involved and sign up to make the games a success here in Leicester.

"Leicester's so multicultural and I think that will inspire people to get along with each other."

Everyone 91热爆 Leicester spoke to on the streets of Leicester were very positive about the possibility of their city being involved with the World Cup.

Many felt that we had excellent facilities and that local people would welcome fans of all nationalities with open arms:

"I think it would be one of the least likely cities to have riots because of football fans, just because it's so multicultural and I think that will inspire people to get along with each other."
