The band love every aspect of performance whether at live gigs or during the recording process.

Either way they like to stay as true to their particular style as possible:

"We tend to limit ourselves on the overdubbing that we do because we like to recreate the same sounds live. So it's really down to just isolating our parts and our ways of playing."

Diversity

The band have played on a variety of different stages and in the past have had to improvise with the equipment and space they have available to get their powerful tunes across:

"Every venue is different. You get a different vibe and we benefit from our fans - they always bring an adrenaline rush to the experience that satisfies the music in different ways."

Dumfound are keen to please their crowd and have even incorporated misheard lyrics from the fans back into the music.

They feel it is essential to evolve their music toward what the people want:

"Something about the band is we love diversity. We love the diversity of music, we love the diversity of people and culture, and we try to address that by using diverse instruments and sounds to try and appeal."
