Pechugas de pollo

When on holiday in the beautiful Andalucian village of Gaucín, I decided to try my Spanish culinary skills and hence the newly learnt vocabulary. After we eventually found the small butchers I realised that I would have to ask for the chicken breasts. I managed the word pollo but the rest I didn't know. Fortunately for me, the lady butcher mimicked the action of "breasts" and with much hilarity in the butchers I got what I wanted - and a whole lot more as I had ceased to be embarrassed about speaking! I have never forgotten the phrase nor the kindness of the butcher who helped me out!
