Fee! Fie! Foe! Fum!

In Southern Spain, unable to get to grips with eatings patterns (always too late for 7am breakfast and to early for 3pm lunch) I announced that I was hungry: Desearía comer algien - of course, I meant 'something' to eat (algo) rather than 'someone' (alguien).

Note: A less formal way to say that you're hungry is tengo hambre literaly: I have hunger.
