Dinner is ready
My friend has lived all his life in Germany but is of Italian parents. This is what we one day heard his father shout when dinner was ready: Luigi, Daniella, Alexandro! Bald werden wir gegessen! So since then that is what all of us shout whenever dinner is ready: We are to be eaten soon! Sounds much more cool in German though.
Editor's note: What he should have said was Bald werden wir essen, which is in fact a much simpler grammatical construction than what he actually said. Keep it simple.

More natural for a native German would be: wir essen gleich or simply (das) Essen ist fertig.
Alternatively he could have meant es wird bald gegessen, which means pretty much the same as wir werden bald essen only using the passive.
In my German class we had been learning about the passive voice and the different ways in which it can be used. We had been given some homework exercises to complete to reinforce what we'd learnt in class, and went over the answers during our next lesson. My friend was asked one of the questions, and answered Dort, im Restaurant, wird man gegessen. I don't think I'll be trying out that kind of restaurant any time soon!
