Open the door or else (Polish/Ukrainian)
Years ago we had a landlord who spoke a mixture of old Ukrainian and Polish. One day she came up to my grandmother and said, "I knocked and knocked on your door but you didn't answer". My grandmother was speechless! The Polish word our landlord used for "to knock" (±è³Ü°ì²¹Ä‡) means "to fart" (pukat') in Ukrainian.
Similarly, I was playing in a sandbox with a little girl when her mother told her, "don't hit the toy, it will break." My mother sitting next to her quietly said, "Ne pukne, ne pukne" (it won't fart).
