False enemies (English/German)

My contribution is not about false friends. It's rather about false enemies - words that seem to have a negative meaning, but in fact they have a positive one.
One example is hell. I would never accept an invitation to spend some time in a "hell room" from an English friend, but if a German friend invited me to ein helles Zimmer, or a "bright room" I would gladly accept the invitation.
