For seven years Andy lived on the streets of his home town of Sunderland. He came to Hull two years ago to enter rehab for his alcohol addiction.听 At his worst Andy (34) was drinking three litres of vodka a day, but he is now alcohol-free and living in temporary accommodation. Andy described the bitter reality of survival on the street and how, with the help of a Hull organisation called Doorstep, he is confronting his addiction and turning his fortunes around.
