The Spencer Davis Group

Some great music on the show this week including, on Monday, legendary British music legend Spencer Davis. He'll be chatting to James about a music career which started back in 1963 and which included Top Ten hits, tours with The Rolling Stones and The Who and a desire to play live that is still burning strong today.

Also on Monday, James will be taking a musical journey through Britain with the help of Hull Daily Mail writer Charlie Mullen.

Sam Brown on stage with Jools Holland

Wednesday's Evening Show features brilliant singer Sam Brown who's credits include singing with Jools Holland's Big Band and also teaming up with Beautiful South's Dave Rotheray in the band 91热爆spun. Sam's on tour in the UK at the moment, she's playing locally and will be talking about the music she loves.

Also on Wednesday, Newcastle band Freerunner will be in to play a few acoustic tracks ahead of their gig at Hull's Lamp venue that night.

Henry Ayrton

If you like Northern Soul, listen to Thursday's show as Steve Womble joins James for a whole hour of top Northern Soul tracks.听 James will also be joined by Henry Ayrton, legendary 91热爆 Radio Humberside presenter, who'll be chatting about twenty years presenting memorable music shows for the 91热爆.

To round off the week, listen out on Friday for some brilliant disco tracks and also the weekly music review.
