Create a sumptuous boudoir full of luxurious fabrics. This room is full of fun and should be enjoyed to the max.

Walls
Paint the walls in a vibrant shade of fuschia. On the ceiling and the chimney breast, choose a slightly darker shade. Add detail by creating an extra large damask style pattern with the darker shade of fuschia paint. Paint the cornicing gold. |

|
Four-poster bed
Create a four-poster bed to be positioned in the middle of the room. Make the posts from lengths of 4x4. Cut MDF shapes and secure between the top of the posts for decorative detail as well as acting as a support for the canopy. |

|
|
Bed
Staple sari material to the top of each post to create curtains and a canopy top for the bed. Dress the bed with black linen, a Damask fabric bedspread and cushions. |

|
|
Side table
Make mirror cubes to act as bedside tables. Construct 300mm square MDF boxes. Add mirror tiles to the sides and top. This will bounce light around the room. |

|
|
Window
Frame the window with a wooden arch, like an elaborate pelmet. Cut this from a large sheet of MDF with Jali fretwork inserts. Paint gold and decorate with lots of jewels. Hang voile curtains on café cord behind the fretwork frame. |
|
|
|
Trapeze swing
Add an eccentric Moulin Rouge touch with a trapeze. Hang a 20x6" oak seat from a ceiling joist by two chains. Cover the chain in thick black ribbon, black cord and gold tassels. |
