I'm researching a mutiny in No 4 Coy RAOC in Durban in February 1942. It occurred on the City of Canterbury prior to her sailing to Singapore via Bombay as part of Convoy BM12. It's part of a book which I'm writing about my family. It has lead me into lots of areas. The one thing which emerges is that governments view all ordinary soldiers as expendable.
