I was born on 4th July 1943 at Windsor Great Hospital. My Mother, now deceased was Daisy Ranger d.o.b 17/1/16 and my Father was Leonard LLoyd Boone; the first names may not be in the correct order and I am not sure whether there was an "e" on Boone or not. He was in the Canadian Army and my Mother believed he was killed in 1944 in Italy as she never heard from him after that. I was told that he was already married but my Mother never told me anything else about him and mentioning him was still a problem for her even a little while before she died. He was a little older than her possibly up to 4 years.
I would like to know whether he is still alive if possible and whether I have any brothers or sisters in Canada. I have been unable to trace him in the war dead files on the internet.
Perhaps someone out there could help?
