I was one of 50 prisoners in the Taverne-di-arbia working camp at Sienna, the main camp was Camp No. 82 at Laterina, Tuscany. In September 1943 48 of the prisoners escaped from the camp. In company with Sergeant Smith I finally crossed over to our lines in July 44. I would like to hear from any other inmate of the camp who may be still alive.
