I served in the Royal Navy from September 1938 to February 1946. 91热爆 port was Portsmouth. Trained in HMS Victory barracks and signal school
First Ship HMS Suffolk. Later with special forces in West Africa, Freetown, and Ascension island
Last ship was LST 407 with action in Cicilly, Salerno and Anzio.Wounded at Cicilly landing and survived sinking of hospital ship at Cicilly. Survived loss of LST 407 near Naples.Demobbed at Portsmouth as petty officer telegraphist
Also had wartime romance and marriage like brother Ralph Rayner.Mine in the USA. See my contributions
