I wanted to write some of the stories extracted from my father's memorabilia. His name is F/O John E.F. (JEF) Dixon , RAF War`Service 1941 - 1946.

Passed out as AC.2 Wireless operator 7th April 1941
Air gunnery course No 5 AOS 15th October Rutland
Served with 144 squadron, No 5 Group Bomber Command
Qualified as Air Gunnery instructor
Served in RAF India Command 44 - 46
Commissioned 1944 - Pilot Officer
Promoted to Flying Officer
Demobilised 104PDC 1946.
