I am a volunteer for the People's War Site for Age Concern Shropshire Telford & Wrekin.
When this site closes I am planning to compile a booklet of the stories I have submitted to the site for local residents.
Anybody living in Shropshire or with a Shropshire story can contact me, if they would like their story to be included in this booklet - "WHAT WE DID IN THE WAR".
I have created my own site so that I can input my late parents' war stories. If anybody reading this can remember my father or my mother from the War years I would be most grateful if they could contact me.

He served in India & Burma with the 15
Corps of the 14th Army 1943-1946.

Rochdale, Lancashire.
Also, if anybody remembers my father-in-law Harry PALMER I would be pleased if they would contact me. He served in India with the Signal Section, 208 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery.
