I was born 1933 in Salisbury, and moved to Guildford when I was 2 weeks old. I went to the local junior school Westborugh Juniors, and later to Northmead Girls. My best friends at school were Joyce Morgan and Margaret Sawyer(I am still in contact with Margaret). I left school at 15 and started work in a railway canteen whre I stayed for 6 years. I left in 1955 to get married to David Ford who I met whilst on holiday in Morecambe. After we were married I moved to the Morecambe area where I still live. We have a son and daughter. Sadly David passed away in 1988.
