The entry 'The Front Line' was actually writen by my father, Francis John Meredith, and is an extract from his much longer 'memoirs' that chronicle from his boyhood through to the death of my mother in 1983.

I am sorry to say that my father, Francis John MEREDITH passed away today, 4th July 2004, at the age of 80. He was fine and honourable man. He was the perfect father.
