I am a member of the Bristol branch of the Merchant Navy Association. We are part of a national organisation dedicated to providing both a social forum for merchant navy seafarers and to raising both the understanding and profile of the merchant navy with the public at large. Here in Bristol we have a 拢100,000 memorial to merchant seamen located at Welsh Back, near to Bristol Bridge and a MN Book of Remembrance signed by HRH The Princess Royal, located in St Stephens Church in which there is also a stained glass tribute to the MN, the church is located off Corn St City.
