Soon after the war the nurseries were taken over by the Ministry of Education and qualified teachers were introduced for the senior posts. St Catherine鈥檚 Road remained a day nursery for working mother鈥檚 until it was burned down, when I think it moved over the road and became St Peter鈥檚 Day Nursery. Two of the seniors from Dysart Rd became Matron and Deputy Matron at St Catherine鈥檚 Rd.
