Myself and 20 others decided to start "The Entertainers in 1989 to commemorate the start of the war. The audience was packed - some of us read poetry, some of us sang Vera Lynn songs and our last performance was filmed and it sits in the archives in Tilston Village Hall for future generations.
I'd finish by singing Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory. Everyone would join in and wave their flags.
