My brother was killed in Belgium Red Caps Army when he was 24. He left behind 5brothers and 3 sisters, mum and dad a wife and 3month old baby. The telegram to my mother with the news, that he was taken prisoner and tried to escape. Mum got all his uniform and guns etc. I never saw him as i was only 2 or 3 when he was called up. I still feel it after all these years.
