William Davies was 19 years old when he joined the RAF. He was a mid upper gunner on a Halifax bomber. He flew 36 missions over Germany before he was taken off operations. He was meant to fly with another crew but at the last minuet he was told that he wasnt needed. The plane then crashed on take-off killing all the crew!
