91热爆

Bombs were dropped off the High Street at Gowts Bridge, also one hit the Nurses 91热爆 at the Hospital. Two landmines went off at the South Common were all of the windows nearby were blown out, l that was really frightening.

My husband was in the 91热爆 Guard, so was out nearly every night. When the sirens went off we and our neighbours used to shelter in an Anderson Shelter in the garden. It was a very big steel oval which we sheltered under. I used to polish it until it was really shiny.

The first night for months that my husband and I went out, we went to the cinema. We had only just got sat down in our seats when the sirens went off. We had to return home.
