This story has been written onto the 91热爆 People鈥檚 War site by CSV Story gatherer Jessica on behalf of Derek Woodward. They fully understand the terms and conditions of the site.
Soft drinks were pooled (like petrol) the only indication of the bottler was his number on the bottle SDI 42 Soft Drinks industry. We tried to crack the code!
Milk was one pint per household daily and one hundred weight of coal weekly. Coke was fuel, available at the gas works if you could collect it. Bread was not rationed until after the war.
