Iwas on my way to school and was a few minutes late .Behind me came about a dozen of us all spead out. Suddenly behind and above us came a fearsome roar like a mighty express train. The only problem was this was no train, it was a Messerschmidt l09 firing at us. We ran. I was luckily neasest the gate and I can hear the ping of the bullets hitting the pavement now. Luckily he missed the lot us. Of course there was no warnig the siren went when he was long gone. I honestly think he probably was just a silly young fool out to scare a load of kids out for fun. He obviously had no intention of hitting us and fired away from us. The dents in the pavement were there until a few years ago when it was repaved.
