I was doing my normal round on the milk duty when suddenly the air raid siren went off. At first I thought it was a warning but then I soon realised this was no practice. I knocked on the door of Joseph McIntosh. He let me in and I was protected from the bombings with minor injuries. I am very grateful to this man for saving my life.
