IMPERIAL WAR MUSEUM This website complements the UK’s largest war
museum, housing the most significant collection of war memorabilia.
There is a large selection of online exhibitions which are
an excellent resource for anyone studying the history of war
in the 20th century, with loads of images, in-depth information
about each conflict, first-hand war accounts, letters, documents,
and activities for kids.
NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY This website is home to the National Railway
Museum, National Museum of Photography, Film & Television and
the Science Museum, collectively known as National Museum of
Science & Industry. Together they cover the most significant
developments in these areas over the last centuries. The sites
contain lots of reading material, games and helpful guides to
the museum collections. In particular, at the railway museum
you can take a virtual tour around some of the world's most
famous steam engines, and play a ‘Dolly the Sheep’ game in the
Science Museum.
