Crannogs
An ideal home for an Iron Age family. Crannogs were
built on artificial islands in lochs all over Scotland - just what was
needed to protect daughters from passing raiders. The video below is of
the Oakbank Crannog on Loch Tay - a detailed reconstruction of the real
crannogs which now lie submerged on the bed of the loch.
