Keith Gooden started his working life at Hamleys the toy shop in Regent Street, London as a Saturday boy; mechanical toys and water novelties a speciality!

He went on to work for the Decca record company in their studios.

Keith said: "That must have been about a hundred years ago, working with the likes of Bing Crosby and Status Quo."

His radio career began with Radio Avalon at the Glastonbury festival doing the show before the "deadheads" the Grateful dead fan club!

Then Keith went to Caroline 558 in the North sea and once produced a meal for the crew - sausages in gravy with mashed potatoes - which was described as "looking like something the dog had done on a plate".

Aboard ship he presented Breakfast, Afternoons and Drive programmes (not at the same time) and was never asked to make another meal!

Keith afterwards worked for various commercial stations in the UK as a manager and presenter, including London's RTL Country where he presented shows from Nashville, Tennessee.

He has also worked in Budapest (in Hungary) as a station manager and presenter, broadcasting in English!

His favourite colour is Red and he enjoys eating, drinking and sleeping.

Keith's taste in music is varied but likes anything from the seventies or eighties and he enjoys the retro taste of toast toppers!
