Violet plants tend to look amazing at twilight when they seem to ‘glow’. They are also the perfect colour to put with yellows, oranges and reds to create a strong contrast.

 Description:
A colourful variety with spikes of rich violet cups hanging from strong stems. It is ideal for the back of the border, where it will grow to around 1.2m (4ft) tall and may require some staking. To keep at a more manageable height, pinch out the growing tips in spring. Plant in moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
