Many of the insects, birds and amphibians which come to our gardens will help to control pests by eating them.
|
There are lots of ways we can encourage these friends:
|
- Grow nectar-rich flowers, such as the poached egg plant, Limnanthes douglasii.
- Leave places for them to live over winter.
- Make a wildlife pool.
- Put out bird food, water and nesting boxes.
