		Pricking out This is the process of separating and transferring recently emerged_seedlings from where they were sown to larger pots, trays or an outdoor bed. Do this as soon as they are large enough to handle, but take care as they are very fragile. Transfer the seedlings singly to small pots or about 5cm (2in) apart in a seed tray or bed. The lowest leaves should be just above the surface. Firm in gently and lightly water with a fine spray.
