Rum butter
If you prefer rum instead of brandy, try a dollop of this on your mince pies.
Ingredients
- 300g/10½oz unsalted butter, softened
- 250g/9oz icing sugar
- 250g/9oz soft dark brown sugar
- 1 tbsp warm water
- 125ml/4fl oz rum
Method
Beat the unsalted butter, icing sugar, brown sugar, water and brandy together until creamy, then refrigerate.
