Bridget Jones's Diary DVD (2001)

Will not bore everyone about what a good DVD "Bridget Jones's Diary" is. Instead, will try to remain calm in its shiny presence and make clever comments about it.

Picture (excellent), sound (excellent, V.G.)

EXTRA FEATURES
Audio Commentary -
Commentary by director Sharon Maguire is as inspired as surely any fine book launch in recent memory. Even without the aid of cheap wine, it is clear that Maguire is very nice about everyone ever, and is pleased with resulting film.

Music Videos -
Will try not to bitch about the two music videos. Do not recall hearing either song on the mysterious time warp that is Sad FM.

Making of Featurette
The behind-the-scenes featurette would appear to be a splendid idea. Watching those interviews with those famous stars, it's almost possible to fantasise being involved in the film, rather than trying to emulate good humorous writing and failing horribly.

Deleted Scenes!
Never need there be such a thing as a wasted weekend again. The eight deleted scenes are truly so funny that peeing oneself during watching must surely be a pre-requisite.
