Boasting a heavyweight all-star cast, the tough thriller "Kiss of Death" is released on DVD with a few extra bells and whistles.
Director Barbet Schroeder's slick style is in evidence throughout, and the picture transfer does a good job of reproducing the subtle moody tones without letting the grain creep in.
A spacious 5.1 sound mix gets to work on the surround speakers, while various 'shock' moments in the film are underpinned with some solid responses from the subwoofer.
As for extras, there is a five minute 'making of' featurette with the actors explaining their roles, and an interview gallery where you get to see the same footage, but un-edited. Unimpressive special features aside, the presentation of the film is good.
